Statement by Small Business for America’s Future Council member Masaru ‘Mas’ Torito Owner of Kokoro Restaurant in Denver on President Biden’s visit to CS Wind in Pueblo, CO

Pueblo, C.O., Nov. 29, 2023– “President Biden’s visit to CS Wind, the world’s largest wind tower manufacturer, in Pueblo is a significant moment for Colorado small business owners. I’m glad to see the president’s dedication to boosting clean energy manufacturing and creating business opportunities and good-paying jobs. Harnessing the potential of clean energy as a driver of economic growth and innovation will create opportunities for a wide variety of small businesses including those that will subcontract to build out the sector and those that serve workers.

“The economic initiatives of the last few years are creating an environment where businesses like mine can not only survive but thrive by fostering opportunities for growth. It's important to acknowledge that any attempts to make cuts to these initiatives  jeopardize the economic progress we've made, threatening the jobs and business opportunities. The president’s visit is a reminder of the need to protect and build upon these gains. We must continue this momentum, prioritizing economic investments that bolster Main Street small businesses, their communities and their employees.
