STATEMENT: Small business group pleased with economic policies that are helping Main Street businesses succeed

Small Business for America’s Future Co-Chair Walt Rowen, President of Susquehanna Glass Co. on President Biden’s visit to Philadelphia

Philadelphia, Oct. 13, 2023– “It was great to hear President Biden talk about our country’s economic progress. Our gains highlight how crucial sound policies are for small businesses to innovate and grow.

“Policies like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that include investments in hydrogen hubs here in Pennsylvania which will create new opportunities for small businesses, sparking a positive outlook on the economy. According to a recent Small Business for America’s Future survey, nearly 60% of small business owners are optimistic about the economy.

“In order for us to continue this economic momentum we are urging lawmakers in Washington to focus on creating policies that will stimulate economic growth, support small businesses, and ensure the prosperity of our communities and the nation as a whole.”
